Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to provide insights through data analysis and financial reporting in our Cape Town office. In this role, you will analyze financial trends, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide recommendations based on your findings. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and proficiency in financial software, allowing them to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex financial models to support strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate financial performance metrics and report on them.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of financial systems.
  • Work on financial forecasting and revenue projections.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Support internal audits and compliance checking.
  • Conduct financial training for junior staff.
  • Engage with external auditors during audits.
  • Facilitate financial planning sessions.
  • Research financial regulations and adapt practices accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Professional certifications in finance are preferred

  • 4+ years in financial analysis or an accounting role
