Horse Trainer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Horse Trainer to join our dynamic team. This role involves training and conditioning horses for various disciplines, including racing and jumping, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Create training regimes that cater to the specific needs of each horse.
• Instruct riders on proper handling and riding techniques.
• Identify behavioral issues and implement corrective measures.
• Participate in the overall horse care routine including grooming and feeding.
• Supervise and assist in horse health checks and first aid when necessary.
• Maintain exceptional records of all training activities and evaluations.
• Support team members in achieving overall facility goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Equine Science or Animal Behaviour
• Relevant certifications in horse training are highly preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in horse training
