Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide crucial support to our educators in Cape Town. As a vital member of our education team, you will help facilitate classroom activities, assist in lesson planning, and foster a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct small group sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with assessment and evaluation of student performance.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom discussions.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop effective teaching strategies.
• Provide support for students with special educational needs.
• Implement classroom management techniques to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Help organize educational activities and field trips.
• Act as a liaison between students and educators to enhance communication.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree or diploma in Education or Child Development
• Teaching qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in a teaching or educational support role is preferred
