Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses in animals, performing surgeries, and working closely with clients to ensure the best care for their pets. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough animal examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Perform a variety of surgical procedures and monitor animal recovery.
  • Offer guidance to pet owners regarding medication and health concerns.
  • Engage with the community on animal health initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high standards of care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and practices.
  • Assist with emergency care as needed.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Master's degree in Veterinary Studies is an advantage
Experience
  • 2-4 years in a clinical setting
