Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing procedures, and ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Educate patients about aftercare and dental hygiene practices.
  • Monitor patient's progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
  • Assist in the management of the dental office as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients for retention.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Engage in marketing efforts to promote dental services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice
