Responsibilities
Assess the financial history and risk factors of applicants.
Collaborate with other departments to improve service delivery.
Develop and implement underwriting guidelines.
Assist in the development of new insurance products.
Perform quality control checks on underwriting files.
Provide feedback to improve underwriting processes.
Engage in client interactions to build strong relationships.
Monitor industry changes and adjust policies accordingly.
Support claims management by providing underwriting insights.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Additional underwriting credentials preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting
