We are seeking a passionate Public Health Research Scientist to join our Pretoria office. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research that addresses pressing public health challenges. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to evidence-based public health interventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop research proposals addressing current public health issues.
• Utilize statistical software for data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on health projects.
• Facilitate workshops to disseminate research findings.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to enhance public health.
• Support the writing of funding proposals for research projects.
• Assist in the training of interns and junior researchers.
• Identify emerging public health trends through analysis.
• Provide strategic input for health policy formulation.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Public Health or related field
• PhD preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health research
