Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, providing technical support, and resolving issues efficiently. Your expertise in troubleshooting and client interaction will be key to our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts and devices.
  • Document technical procedures and processes.
  • Escalate issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects.
  • Assist in disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • MCSE certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support and administration
