Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and improving user experiences across various digital platforms. You will work closely with developers and product managers to create intuitive and functional designs that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.
• Prototype and iterate on design concepts through user feedback.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to skill development.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Implement accessibility best practices in all designs.
• Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to enhance user experience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• User Research
• Responsive Design

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Certified UX Designer
• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies: Understanding design thinking principles for a user-centered design process.
