Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you will assess risks and determine the eligibility of applicants for insurance coverage. You will analyze applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and overall risk profile to make informed decisions that benefit both the company and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through various tax compliance obligations.
• Conduct tax audits and prepare detailed reports.
• Develop tax minimisation strategies tailored to client needs.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding tax regulations and updates.
• Support clients in the preparation of financial statements in alignment with tax requirements.
• Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions.
• Organise and participate in client meetings to discuss tax-related queries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is a plus

Languages
