We are seeking an Information Security Specialist to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting our company's digital assets by implementing security measures and monitoring systems for potential threats. You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement security controls and technical measures to protect sensitive data.
• Develop incident response plans and conduct drills.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Train staff on security awareness and incident reporting.
• Liaise with law enforcement on cybersecurity issues.
• Research and recommend new security technologies and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, Security+)

Experience

• 2+ years in a cybersecurity role

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
