Responsibilities

• Assess and document clients' situations and needs.
• Design and execute plans for client support and intervention.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients and families.
• Advocate for social justice and equitable access to services.
• Organize and lead community outreach initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and ethical standards.
• Engage in case reviews and professional supervision.
• Assist clients in navigating social service systems.
• Contribute to public awareness campaigns on social issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a social service role

• Social Policy Knowledge

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
