Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Actuary to join our team in Sandton. This role involves utilizing advanced statistical methods to assess risk and evaluate financial products. Ideal candidates will have a strong analytical background and be comfortable working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical software to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Implement policies and procedures around risk management and compliance.
• Provide insights on product developments to mitigate potential risks.
• Present findings to management and contribute to strategic planning.
• Facilitate training sessions for junior actuaries and analysts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Master’s degree or further actuarial qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant actuarial role
