Job Description

As an Instrument Specialist, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all instruments in our manufacturing processes are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will help us achieve optimal productivity while ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems.
• Participate in the design and installation of new instrumentation solutions.
• Conduct safety audits and compliance checks on equipment.
• Document all maintenance procedures and changes thoroughly.
• Develop training materials for instrument handling and maintenance.
• Ensure minimal downtime by responding swiftly to instrument failures.
• Monitor instrument performance and suggest improvements.
• Work with quality control teams to ensure instrument reliability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for instruments and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Trade Test Certification as an Instrument Technician

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in instrument maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Technical knowledge of instrumentation
• PLC programming
• SCADA systems

Certifications

• ISO Standards Certification
