Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated doctor to join our medical team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the best possible care for our community.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient history and perform diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Lead patient care initiatives within the facility.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in accordance with regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest medical research and practices.
• Participate in patient care committee meetings and case discussions.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant medical field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of diverse clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Surgical skills
• Patient management systems

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Membership of the College of Medicine of South Africa
• Fellowship in a medical specialty (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
