Seconds Handler

Job Description

As a Seconds Handler, you will be integral to our production process, responsible for inspecting products for defects and ensuring only the highest-quality items reach our customers. This role requires keen attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify defects in products prior to dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area.
• Provide feedback to the production team on quality-related issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
• Utilize quality management software to track defects.
• Assist in the training of new staff on inspection processes.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Certificate in Quality Assurance or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control Software
• Microsoft Excel

Advantageous

• Experience with quality audits: Participating in or conducting internal quality audits.
• First Aid Certification: A certification demonstrating preparedness for workplace incidents.
