Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Light Truck Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of parcels throughout Johannesburg and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates should possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned delivery routes safely and promptly.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and accurately recorded.
• Maintain effective communication with dispatch and customers on delivery status.
• Perform routine checks on vehicle condition and report as needed.
• Adhere to company safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driver's license (Code 10 or 14)

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy parcels

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and another South African language: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
