Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and improve mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with other engineers and technicians to create innovative solutions and enhance efficiency in our engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in mechanical design projects from conception to delivery.
• Identify and troubleshoot engineering problems and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for engineering issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Project Management: Experience with methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with energy management systems: Knowledge in optimizing energy consumption in engineering projects.
