Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide clinical consultations for healthcare providers as needed.
  • Participate in pharmacy audits and compliance inspections.
  • Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers for medication coverage.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient information.
  • Assist in the preparation of medication compounding as required.
  • Manage pharmacy administrative tasks effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred
