We are seeking a talented Architect to join our innovative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and an eye for detail. You will work on various projects, from residential developments to commercial spaces, bringing your creative visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for prospective projects.
• Lead design workshops with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop 3D models and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
• Ensure designs are aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives to gather feedback on proposals.
• Research new materials and technologies to enhance design processes.
• Schedule and lead project meetings with involved parties.
• Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Master's degree in Architecture preferred

Experience

• 5+ years' experience working in an architectural role

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Building Codes Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Client Relations

Certifications

• Professional Architectural Registration
• Sustainable Design Certifications preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
