Job Description

As a Math Tutor, you will foster a supportive learning environment, assisting students in overcoming their challenges in mathematics. Your role will include developing individualized learning plans, offering encouragement, and ensuring that all students are progressing toward their academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular evaluations to gauge progress in mathematical understanding.
• Motivate and encourage students to enhance their maths skills and confidence.
• Identify and address learning obstacles faced by students.
• Review and refine instructional materials based on student needs.
• Collaborate with other educators to support a cohesive learning framework.
• Encourage students to take risks and make mistakes as part of the learning process.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant teaching qualification preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a tutoring role or teaching math to high school students is advantageous
