Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. As a key player in our projects, you'll develop and implement machine learning models using diverse data sets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mathematical background and experience with programming languages such as Python and R.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test machine learning algorithms for various applications.
• Work with data scientists and engineers to optimize data preparation.
• Monitor model performance and conduct regular updates when necessary.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases and documentation.
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and interns on ML methodologies.
• Explore and implement best practices in model deployment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning projects
