Job Description

We invite experienced General Practitioners to enhance our medical team in Cape Town. As the frontline of healthcare, you will conduct assessments, manage treatment plans, and build strong relationships with patients. Responsibilities

• Provide a first point of contact for patient health concerns.
• Maintain detailed patient histories and follow treatment guidelines.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Advise on immunizations and preventive care strategies.
• Educate patients about medication management and compliance.
• Actively participate in hospital committees and patient safety programs.
• Keep abreast of innovations in medicine and patient care practices.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate qualification in family medicine preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Patient management
• Diagnostic skills

Soft Skills

• Crisis management
• Team leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
