Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring security systems, and implementing effective countermeasures to protect our clients' data and resources. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Implement security measures and tools for data protection.
• Collaborate with IT departments to enhance system security.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and threats.
• Assist in developing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Perform security audits to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures.
• Educate staff about cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
• Participate in incident response drills and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Security
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
