Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in patient care, demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, and possess a compassionate approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and health assessments.
• Implement care strategies and ensure effective pain management.
• Manage patient care during emergencies and critical situations.
• Facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with case managers to plan patient discharges.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to care improvement strategies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle modifications to patients.
• Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.
• Engage with families to provide emotional support and resources.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a specialized unit.
