Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat various animal diseases and injuries.
Develop treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
Engage in community outreach and educational programs about wildlife conservation.
Collaborate with conservationists on animal welfare initiatives.
Supervise veterinary interns and students.
Manage and operate diagnostic equipment and laboratory procedures.
Review and update protocols for the treatment and care of zoo animals.
Conduct workshops for staff on animal handling and veterinary practices.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
Postgraduate qualification in Zoo or Wildlife Medicine (advantageous)
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in veterinary practice, preferably with exotic or wildlife animals.
