Job Description

Join us as an IT Support Technician in Cape Town, where your skills will help maintain optimal IT performance. You will provide technical support, manage hardware and software issues, and assist users in navigating IT challenges. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve technical support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and upgrades of IT systems and equipment.
  • Provide user training on new technologies and systems.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Work closely with external vendors to resolve issues.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations for critical data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in IT support.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technology solutions.
  • Create and update user documentation and FAQs.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field
