We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, training, employee relations, and performance management.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the full recruitment cycle from job advertisement to hiring.
Facilitate employee induction and ongoing training initiatives.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and track employee data.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback.
Support departmental HR-related projects and initiatives.
Develop HR metrics to evaluate effectiveness of HR programs.
Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
Maintain and update the employee handbook.
Assist in managing the company’s performance management system.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Postgraduate qualification in HR is an advantage
Experience
3+ years in an HR capacity, preferably in a generalist role
