Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will assist in the execution of investment banking transactions, conducting market research and financial analysis, and preparing presentation materials for client meetings. This role presents a unique opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on various mandates in the financial services space.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed investment memoranda and transaction materials.
• Support deal management in negotiations and participations.
• Contribute to investment strategy discussions with team members.
• Review and analyze industry trends to inform business strategies.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on quantitative analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking or financial analysis

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or equivalent
