Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will assist in the execution of investment banking transactions, conducting market research and financial analysis, and preparing presentation materials for client meetings. This role presents a unique opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on various mandates in the financial services space.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to support the execution of transactions.
• Prepare detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and pitch books.
• Work collaboratively with various departments to complete transactions.
• Participate in due diligence processes and client meetings.
• Support senior analysts and bankers in deal structuring and execution.
• Analyze financial statements and develop insights for investment strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking or financial analysis
