Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Credit Risk Specialist to join our team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies to effectively manage credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate creditworthiness of prospective clients.
• Prepare risk assessment reports for management review.
• Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures.
• Utilize risk assessment software to streamline the evaluation process.
• Recommend approved credit limits in accordance with company policies.
• Provide training to junior analysts on credit evaluation methods.
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to gauge risk.
• Actively engage in risk mitigation discussions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of credit risk management tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or credit risk management

Certifications

• Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
