Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide support during diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Liaise with patients and families to ensure effective communication and support.
• Handle emergency situations with professionalism and care.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
• Assist in organizing community health outreach programs.
• Promote health education to patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing

Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred

Languages

• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Afrikaans, isiXhosa): Ability to communicate with a diverse patient population.
• Experience with telehealth services: Previous experience in providing nursing care via telehealth platforms.
