Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Educational, Guidance, and Career Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing clients’ needs and developing effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver counseling services to diverse populations, focusing on personal, social, and educational issues.
• Conduct assessments to understand client backgrounds and challenges.
• Work with clients to set and achieve personal and career goals.
• Provide guidance on educational pathways and career opportunities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
• Encourage clients to express thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the counseling process.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of counseling or therapy experience

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of various counseling theories and techniques
• Cultural competence

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Previous experience in a healthcare or mental health setting: Experience providing counseling services in a clinical environment.
