Remote Sensing Technician

Job Description

As a Remote Sensing Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our drone fleet. You will conduct regular inspections, ensure proper functioning, and provide technical support to drone operators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of drone systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute routine maintenance including software updates and hardware checks.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with drones.
• Document all maintenance actions and keep logs of repairs.
• Stay informed about the latest drone technology innovations.
• Help train new staff on safe drone operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers for drone system improvements.
• Monitor the condition of drones during flight operations.
• Implement effective drone safety measures and guidelines.
• Assist in field operations when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or diploma in electronics, aviation, or related field
• Additional certifications in drone operations or repair is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in drone maintenance and repair.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of drone operations and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good understanding of electronics and circuitry
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
