Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Smart Contract Developer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing smart contracts and blockchain-based solutions that drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will have experience with Solidity and a deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless and secure applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable smart contract solutions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and ensure alignment in goals.
• Debug and optimize smart contract code for efficiency.
• Maintain clear and succinct documentation for all smart contracts.
• Evaluate competitor offerings and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Participate in community engagement efforts related to blockchain.
• Propose ideas for feature additions based on user feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Additional certifications in blockchain technology is a plus

Experience

• Experience with DeFi projects is advantageous
