Job Description

We are seeking a talented Hotel General Manager to oversee our Durban property. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence, ensuring the hotel meets profitability targets while providing memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services.
  • Design and implement training programs to upskill staff and improve service delivery.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to adapt strategies and enhance competitiveness.
  • Monitor online reviews and reputation management across platforms.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to drive group bookings and events.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement processes for hotel supplies.
  • Lead budget planning and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for property growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hotel management
