Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to establish objectives and expectations for events.
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and audiovisual needs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance event visibility.
• Execute on-site management and staffing during events.
• Compile and present post-event reports that detail success and areas for growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale event planning

• Event Software Proficiency

Certifications

• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
• Event Planning Certificate from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
