Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Community Relations Coordinator to spearhead our outreach initiatives in Johannesburg. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders and ensuring our programs meet the needs of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Lead community outreach programs and events that align with organizational goals.
• Cultivate partnerships with various organizations to enhance community support.
• Analyze community feedback to improve engagement strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community members.
• Manage social media campaigns targeting community engagement.
• Ensure that all outreach materials are effective and culturally appropriate.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and activities.
• Assist in developing grant proposals and funding applications.
• Foster positive relationships with local government and civic leaders.
• Organize regular updates and feedback sessions with community stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• Over 5 years in community relations, outreach programs, or capacity building roles
