Job Description

Seeking a Civil Engineer for exciting infrastructure projects in Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project development, conducting site assessments, and ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong analytical skills and an ability to maintain effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive project plans and schedules for infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Evaluate project proposals and make recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Implement sustainable engineering practices in all projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and adjust project plans as needed.
  • Liaise with government agencies and community members regarding project impact.
  • Facilitate public meetings to address community concerns.
  • Ensure that projects stay within financial, material, and quality benchmarks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience
