We are seeking a meticulous Tax Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key player in our taxation department, you will assist clients in navigating complex tax regulations and optimizing their tax strategies. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in South African tax law.

Responsibilities

• Draft tax reports and documentation for client meetings.
• Stay updated on international tax issues and how they impact local clients.
• Work with accounting teams to ensure financial information is prepared in accordance with tax regulations.
• Participate in tax planning sessions with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation or accounting

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Accounting Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
