We are seeking a qualified Accountant to take charge of bookkeeping and accounting duties. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of accounting regulations and practices to help our organisation stay profitable and efficient.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain financial records and accounting practices.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Conduct audits and assist in preparation for external auditors.
Resolve discrepancies in financial records and assist with internal audits.
Prepare budgets and forecasts to assist strategic planning.
Maintain financial databases and ensure their accuracy.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Additional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous
Experience
3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting
