Responsibilities

• Execute grooming services with a focus on safety and comfort for the pets.
• Take appropriate precautions to handle difficult or anxious pets.
• Utilize various grooming techniques for different breeds.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and request stock as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive salon environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced certification in pet grooming preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in grooming and handling various pets

Technical Skills

• Clipping and Trimming
• Behavioural Assessment

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet Grooming Advanced Certification
• CPR and First Aid for Pets

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to handle special needs pets: Experience working with elderly or special needs animals.
• Marketing skills for promoting grooming services: Skills to help market grooming services to attract new clients.
