Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and enhance our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our supply chain processes, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics projects from initiation to completion.
• Utilize logistics software to enhance tracking and reporting.
• Engage with logistics partners to ensure effective collaboration.
• Review and analyze freight costs and shipping rates.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding stock levels and inventory management.
• Perform problem-solving and corrective actions as needed.
• Support the logistics strategy to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of logistical experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• SAP ERP
• Inventory Management

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Logistics Professional (CLP)
• Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
