Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing civil engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative civil engineering solutions, collaborating with architects and urban planners.
• Supervise project teams and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare cost estimates and engineering calculations.
• Ensure the quality of work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a focus on project management

Technical Skills

• Engineering Design Principles
• Geotechnical Engineering

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of transport engineering: Experience in planning and designing transport systems and infrastructure.
