Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health by conducting thorough histories and physical examinations.
• Develop treatment strategies with input from multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and nursing students.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote public health.
• Participate in research and development of best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nursing License

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical or hospital setting

• Pharmacology

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans to cater to diverse populations.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems: Proficiency in managing patient data through EHR systems.
