Job Description

We are in search of a creative and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in user-centered design principles and will be responsible for creating engaging user interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience of our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure design feasibility.
• Develop design specifications and guidelines to maintain consistency across products.
• Design and conduct usability testing to refine products based on user feedback.
• Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years in a design-focused role

• Sketch

Certifications

• UX Design Institute Diploma

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with user testing tools: Hands-on experience using tools like UserTesting and Hotjar.
