Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing construction teams, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets, and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and execute them effectively.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Prepare progress reports and present to stakeholders.
  • Manage risks and issues to keep the project on track.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and crew members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Master's degree or additional certifications are preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years in managing construction projects.
