Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and developing innovative chemical solutions to enhance our product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conception through implementation, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies for process improvement.
• Document technical data and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with R&D to translate new ideas into production-ready processes.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and challenges.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required
• Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of industry experience with a focus on chemical processes
