Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our Johannesburg team, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets and a proven track record of successful client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Construct comprehensive financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end process of financial transactions from initial client engagement to closure.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies for new product offerings.
• Analyze competitive landscape and provide insights to clients for better investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements throughout the transaction process.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the team to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• An MBA or Master's degree is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within investment banking
