Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Mining Engineer to drive our innovative mining operations in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mining processes and safety regulations, and have a passion for enhancing efficiency and sustainability in our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering plans for mining sites to optimize resource extraction.
• Evaluate and select appropriate mining technologies and machinery.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety standards are met.
• Work closely with cross-department teams for project execution.
• Manage budgets and ensure project deliverables are achieved within financial constraints.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement in mining practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mining industry

• Geotechnical Analysis

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)

Languages
