Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience managing logistics, procurement, and warehouse functions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the board.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and sourcing strategies to meet production needs efficiently.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best terms and pricing.
• Enhance supply chain systems through technology and automation.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal departments to ensure alignment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement within the supply chain.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on best practices and new supply chain technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics
